(a) Online, through various Events.ly properties, including the Events.ly website and subdomains (“Site(s)”); (b) Off-platform, providing tools for secure ticket sales, secondary resales, entry management, fan rewards, and NFT-powered experiences; and (c) Mobile applications, APIs, and other digital services (“Applications”).
Collectively, (a), (b), and (c) are referred to as “Events.ly Properties” or our “Services”.

“Non-Personal Data,” as defined in this Privacy Policy, refers to any information that does not identify an individual and cannot be associated with a person. When you interact with our Services, we may collect Non-Personal Data to improve our platform and user experience. The restrictions and requirements outlined in this Privacy Policy regarding the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and storage/retention of Personal Data do not apply to Non-Personal Data.
At Events.ly, your privacy is our priority, and we are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

When you use or interact with Events.ly through our Services, or engage with us as a customer or prospect, we may collect Personal Data. In some cases, we collect this information on our own behalf; in others, we collect it on behalf of an Organizer using Events.ly to manage their event. This distinction is important for certain data protection laws, as explained below.
3.1 Information Collected From All Users
Information you provide to us:
- Name, address, and email address.
- Preferences indicated by your activity on our platform (e.g., viewing, or searching).
- Any other information you choose to provide that could identify you.
Information we automatically collect:
- A unique identifier for your device or browser (e.g., your Internet Protocol [IP] address).
- Technical characteristics of your access device or browser.
- Usage statistics, such as page visits, clicks, cursor movements, and searches on our platform.
- Information on how you arrived at Events.ly, such as referring sites or links.
- We collect this data using technologies like Cookies, Pixel Tags, Local Shared Objects, Web Storage, and similar tools. These technologies allow us and our vendors to gather real-time information about how users navigate and interact with Events.ly. For example, vendors may collect your browsing behavior and searches to help us improve the Services.

3.2 Information Collected From Organizers
If you are an Organizer, we may collect additional Personal Data from you to facilitate your use of the Events.ly platform and Services.
- In certain cases, we may collect payment-related data, such as your credit card information (e.g., credit card number, expiration date, and billing address), some of which may be classified as Personal Data, to process specific payments.
- If you use our payment processing services, we may also collect financial details such as your bank account information or an address to send checks. Additionally, we may collect information necessary for tax purposes (e.g., your taxpayer identification number).
- When creating an event, we may ask for your phone number and send you a verification text message to ensure account security and prevent fraudulent activity. For more information, refer to our SMS Terms here.
Information We Obtain From Other Sources:
- We may also collect or receive Personal Data such as your name, email address, and other contact details from third-party sources, including marketing partners, payment processors, credit reporting agencies, and your bank.
3.3 Information Collected From Consumers
If you are a Consumer, we may collect additional Personal Data, either for our own purposes or on behalf of an Organizer (refer to Section 5.5 for more details).
Information You Provide Via Events.ly Properties or Applications:
- If you register for a paid event, you will provide financial information (e.g., credit card number, expiration date, and billing address), some of which may constitute Personal Data.
- Organizers may create event registration pages that collect various types of information from Consumers, depending on their requirements. Events.ly does not control the registration process or the Personal Data collected by Organizers.
- When you register for an event or provide information to Events.ly in connection with an Organizer’s activity (e.g., purchase, registration, or ticket transfer), that Organizer will receive and may use the data you provide. Please review Section 5.5, “How We Disclose and Transfer Your Personal Data: Organizers,” for more information.
Information We Obtain From Other Sources:
- We may also collect Personal Data from third-party sources, such as Organizers, other Consumers, social media platforms, credit card issuers, payment processors, or other partners.
3.4 Information Collected From Sales Clients and Leads
If you interact with the Events.ly sales team, we may collect the following Personal Data:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and other professional contact information.
- If you consent to recording a meeting with our sales team, we may collect audio and/or video recordings of those interactions.
These measures help us better support Organizers and Consumers while maintaining transparency and security. Let us know if you have any questions regarding this policy.
4. How We Use Your Personal Data
We collect and use the Personal Data we obtain in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. Below are the ways we may use your Personal Data:
4.1 Specific Purpose
If you provide Personal Data for a particular purpose, we will use that information specifically for the purpose it was provided. For example, if you contact us via email, we will use your information to respond to your inquiry or resolve your issue and reply to the email address you provided.
4.2 Access and Use
When you provide Personal Data to access or use our Services or specific features, we will use it to grant you access and analyze your usage of those Services or features. For instance, if you provide identification or qualifications to access certain portions of the platform, we will use that information to determine your eligibility and ensure continued access to those Services.

4.5 Organizer Emails
Organizers can use our email tools to communicate with Consumers regarding past or upcoming events. If you register for an event, your email address will be shared with the Organizer for event-related communications. Organizers may also import external email lists to send communications via our Services. Note that Events.ly facilitates but does not control these communications. To opt out, refer to the “Opt Out from Electronic Communications” section below.
4.6 Use of Interest-Based Data
Organizers can use our email tools to communicate with Consumers regarding past or upcoming events. If you register for an event, your email address will be shared with the Organizer for event-related communications. Organizers may also import external email lists to send communications via our Services. Note that Events.ly facilitates but does not control these communications. To opt out, refer to the “Opt Out from Electronic Communications” section below.
4.7 Other Purposes
If we need to use your Personal Data for purposes not covered by this Privacy Policy, we will inform you at the time of collection or seek your consent before such use.
4.8 Aggregated Personal Data
To better understand our users, we may conduct research based on aggregated, anonymized Personal Data, which does not identify you individually. Aggregated data is considered Non-Personal Data under this Privacy Policy and may be used for analysis and improvements to our Services.

When you engage with an event hosted on Events.ly, the Organizer of that event may receive your Personal Data, such as your name, email address, and other information you provide during registration or purchase. Organizers may also use this data to contact you with marketing or event-related communications.
If tickets or registrations are transferred, the Personal Data of both you and the transferee may be shared with the Organizer. Organizers may also involve third parties (e.g., promoters or sponsors) who may receive your Personal Data. It is important to review the Organizer’s privacy policies and those of any third-party affiliates they work with.
5.6 Social Media and Third-Party Connections
a. Connecting Your Events.ly Account to Social Media:
If you link your Events.ly account to third-party services like Facebook, we may collect and use data such as your profile picture, name, and friend lists to enhance functionality, such as event recommendations or sharing activities with friends.
b. “Liking” or “Following” Events.ly on Social Media:
When you interact with Events.ly on social media platforms, we may collect data such as your name and contact details, as well as any relevant content or comments you share.
c. Facebook Plug-Ins:
Our website may include plug-ins or links to social media services, such as the Facebook “Like” button. Interacting with these links may allow the third-party platform to gather information about your activity. For details, refer to the privacy policies of these platforms.
d. Third-Party Advertising by Organizers:
Organizers may use tools to target you with advertisements on social media or other platforms. If you prefer not to have your Personal Data used in this manner, please review your social media settings or contact the Organizer directly.
e. Third-Party Integrations:
We may share your Personal Data with third-party services that you use in connection with our platform, such as payment providers or event integration tools. This is done only to fulfill your requests or provide the Services you engage with.
5.7 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your Personal Data when required by law or to:

- Request Corrections or Updates: If any of your Personal Data is inaccurate, you can request corrections or updates by contacting us using the information provided below. We will process your request in accordance with applicable laws.
If a Consumer requests the deletion of their Personal Data, Events.ly is authorized to delete or anonymize the data from its Services, even if that means it will no longer be available to the Organizer. However, please note:
- If your Personal Data has already been shared with an Organizer, it may still be retained in their own systems or databases. Events.ly is not responsible for the Organizer’s data retention practices, and you may need to contact the Organizer directly to request its deletion.

10. Your Choices
10.1 Limit the Personal Data You Provide
You can use certain parts of the Events.ly Services without providing Personal Data (other than Automatic Data, where applicable). However, some functionality may be unavailable if you limit the data you provide. For example, to purchase tickets as a Consumer, the Organizer will require your name and email address.
10.2 Opt Out from Electronic Communications
(a) Events.ly Marketing Communications
If you have registered for our Services or purchased tickets, Events.ly may send you marketing emails about the platform or events. You can opt out by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email or by managing your preferences in your account under “Email Preferences”.
(b) Organizer-Initiated Communications
Organizers may use Events.ly’s email tools to send communications to their attendees. While these emails are sent via our system, the Organizer determines their content and recipients. You can opt out of these communications by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the email footer.
(c) Social Notifications
If you connect your Events.ly account to social media platforms like Facebook, you may receive notifications about your friends’ activities. To stop receiving these notifications, adjust your social settings to private or disconnect the integration.
(d) Transactional or Responsive Communications
Some emails are necessary for functionality, such as ticket delivery or responses to customer support inquiries. You will continue receiving these emails even if you opt out of marketing communications. To stop receiving transactional emails, contact us, but note that doing so may limit your ability to use the Services effectively.
(e) Retention
It may take up to 48 hours to process an unsubscribe request. While Events.ly will no longer use your data to contact you after you opt out, Organizers who have already received your Personal Data may still contact you under their own privacy policies.
10.3 Do Not Track
At this time, Events.ly does not participate in “Do Not Track” frameworks and cannot respond to signals or mechanisms from your browser regarding the collection of your Personal Data.
10.4 Targeted Advertising
We may work with advertising partners to show ads tailored to your interests, as outlined in Section 4.4 of this Privacy Policy. To opt out of targeted advertising, click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of our homepage.
11. Exclusions
11.1 Personal Data Provided to Others
This Privacy Policy does not cover any Personal Data you provide to other Users or visitors through the Events.ly platform or other means, including information shared directly with Organizers on event pages or information you post in public areas of the platform.
11.2 Third-Party Links
This Privacy Policy applies solely to Events.ly and its Services. Our platform may contain links to third-party websites not operated or controlled by Events.ly (“Third-Party Sites”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these Third-Party Sites, and our inclusion of links to them does not imply endorsement or review. We recommend contacting those sites directly to learn more about their privacy policies.
12. Children - Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under 13 years old, please do not provide any Personal Data through the Events.ly platform.
We encourage parents and legal guardians to supervise their children’s use of the Internet and assist in enforcing this Privacy Policy by ensuring their children do not share Personal Data without permission.
If you believe a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data to Events.ly, please contact us at privacy@events.ly, and we will take steps to delete the information from our systems.
13. International Privacy Laws
If you are accessing Events.ly Services from outside your home country, please note that your information, including Personal Data, will be transferred to and stored on servers located in the United States, where our primary servers are based. Depending on the type of information and how it is stored, it may also be transferred to other countries outside of your country of residence.
These countries, including the United States, may not have data protection laws that are as comprehensive or protective as those in your home country. However, we will continue to handle your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed or stored.

The Events.ly Services and our business may evolve over time. As a result, we may need to update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time (“Modifications”).

Events.ly as a Data Controller and Processor
- As a Data Controller: When you create an account or interact with Events.ly directly (e.g., using our platform or Applications), we are the data controller responsible for your Personal Data.
- As a Data Processor: When you register for an event as a Consumer, we process your data on behalf of the Organizer. For example, we may send confirmation emails, process payments, or generate event reports to assist the Organizer.
For Organizer-managed events, the Organizer is the data controller and responsible for determining how your Personal Data is used. If you have questions about your data related to an event, please contact the Organizer directly.
